Designing a promotion kit
Unifying the visual identity of Puppet Animation Scotland
Founded in 1984, Puppet Animation Scotland champions puppetry, animated film and visual theatre in Scotland and internationally. Approaching the Edinburgh College of Art with a set brief in mind, the organisation was looking for a promotion kit that can bring together the strong yet distinct visual identities of both of the festivals they run (The Puppet Animation Festival and Manipulate Visual Theatre Festival).

Branding
The original branding of Puppet Animation Scotland mainly consisted of blue, white, and black, while the colours red and yellow are used exclusively on their website. For the promotion kit, I wanted to incorporate those colours to strengthen the existing branding and to show how enthralling and exciting the organisation is. Abstract shapes and patterns inspired by theatrical elements and the flag of Scotland are also used.

The final design consisted of postcards, business cards, and a booklet showcasing the the range of work Puppet Animation Scotland has done in the past.
